Terms of Service

The service
TariffDesk is a software service that monitors changes to US import tariff rates (HTS) and sends alerts when codes you watch change. We source rates from the US International Trade Commission, US Customs and Border Protection, the Federal Register, and USTR. Customers are responsible for their own import classifications and entry filings.
Accuracy and warranty
We work hard to keep rate data accurate and current. We do not warrant the data as legally definitive for entry-filing or ruling-request purposes. TariffDesk is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not your customs broker, not your attorney, and not your accountant. Verify rates with primary sources before making material business decisions.
Billing and cancellation
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe in advance. You can cancel any time from the in-app settings page; cancellation stops future billing and access continues through the end of the paid period. We do not refund partial periods.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape the service in ways that abuse our rate limits, don't resell raw rate data, and don't use the service to violate US export-control or sanctions law. Broker plans are licensed to your firm and the importer clients you serve, not for competitive resale.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of TariffDesk is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
